Our story
From petroleum transport to a diversified logistics business
RL Investments Ltd is a privately owned transport, logistics and distribution company founded by Rodger Lutalo. The company began operations in 2012 and first built its reputation in the petroleum sector, carrying fuel for oil marketing companies.
Through steady investment in trucks, people and safety systems, the company has grown into a diversified logistics business. Today we serve manufacturers, distributors, FMCG companies, industrial enterprises, commercial organisations and oil marketing companies, with box trucks, flatbeds and fuel tankers.
We run the business on a custom ERP system. Through the ERP project, every truck in our company-owned fleet was fitted with a GPS unit for real-time monitoring. It has improved planning, reduced complaints about delivery delays, and gives customers real-time visibility of their deliveries.
We invest in our people, our trucks and our safety systems because our customers depend on deliveries arriving on time and in full.
